Departments
The Town Board of Cedar Lake is comprised of two Supervisors and a Chairman.
The Town Board normally meets the second Monday of the month at 6:30 pm in the Town Hall, located at 2696 Main Street Mikana. The board meets each month to conduct town business and is open to the public. The Board welcomes public input and provides informative discussions on many issues relating to the Town of Cedar Lake.
Jim Ludwig
Jim Ludwig made Cedar Lake Township his home in 2017 following his retirement as a plant manager in 2014. Originally from Medford, Wisconsin, Jim brought with him a strong commitment to public service, having previously served as Chairman of the Town of Browning from 2015 to 2016. His experience and dedication to community leadership led to his election as Supervisor 1 for Cedar Lake Township on April 1, 2025, where he is honored to serve a two-year term.
Tony Wolff
Tony Wolff, Chairman of the Cedar Lake Town Board, has been a part of the community since 1968. A U.S. Air Force veteran who retired as a Master Sergeant in 1996, Tony was first elected as a Supervisor to the Town Board in 2017. He has helped improve communication through the town website (www.townofcedarlake.org), supported budgets leading to six straight years of tax levy reductions, and advanced the construction of a new fire department facility. Tony is committed to transparent, responsible leadership.
Kory Weiss
Kory is a second generation town resident. He is a small business owner on Red Cedar Lake. He was elected to the position of Town Supervisor in April 2015.
The Town of Cedar Lake has a Town Clerk, Deputy Clerk, Town Treasurer, Town Patrolman, and Assistant Patrolman.
Cindy Zuleger
Cindy and her husband built their home in the area in 2017 and have been full-time residents since 2021. She owned and operated a successful graphic design and printing business for 23 years, where she developed strong expertise in business management, organization, and client services.
Since 2022, Cindy has served as the Administrative Assistant for the Loch Lomond Beach Club, applying her exceptional organizational and record-keeping skills. She brings over two decades of experience with QuickBooks, along with 15 years of service as a Chief Election Inspector. Her background also includes roles as secretary and treasurer, as well as experience in website creation and maintenance and a solid understanding of zoning matters.
Before relocating, Cindy dedicated 13 years as an Emergency Medical Responder with her local fire department, including 6 years as EMR Captain. In this leadership role, she worked closely with her town board and collaborated regularly with clerks from four neighboring townships, further strengthening her knowledge of municipal operations.
Cindy is excited to take on the role of Clerk and is committed to serving her community with professionalism, transparency, and dedication.
