Special Meeting Minutes April 13, 2018

April 13, 2018 Special Meeting Minutes         The Cedar Lake Town Board met in special open session on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 1 p.m. at the Town Shop in Mikana for the purpose of delegating the authority to hire temporary employees to the Road Supervisor.  Present were Ken Leners, Chairman; Tony Wolff, Supervisor 1; and Kory Weiss, Supervisor 2. Absent were Maryhelen Drew, Clerk; and Gladys Roux, Treasurer.         Supervisor Weiss discussed personal injury insurance related to volunteer snow truck operators and the requirement to document voluntary service through the use of a signed and dated voluntary service form.  Jeff Kruger and Joe Klingelhoets, experienced and licensed snow plow operators, were present and signed the volunteer service forms with a period of performance from April 13, 2018 through May 31, 2018.         Chairman Leners made the motion to adjourn the meeting at 1:15 p.m. Supervisor Weiss seconded the motion and all approved. ]]>
