Budget Hearing Minutes | November 13, 2023

The Town Board of the Town of Cedar Lake met at the Cedar Lake Town Hall in Mikana on Monday, November 13 2023 at 6:00 PM for the Public Hearing for the Proposed Budget for 2024. Present was Chairman, Ken Leners, Supervisor, Mary Hele, Clerk, Maryhelen Drew. Absent was Kory Weiss. Also present were 12 other persons. The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Ken presented the budget to the people. He explained the capital outlays for 2023 and 2024. The one loan at the bank for the grader will be paid off in April, 2024. As there were no questions at this time, Ken went on to explain the proposed budget for 2024.

As there was no discussion regarding the proposed budget, Ken made the motion to adjourn this portion of the meeting. This was seconded by Mary and all approved. (6:14)
