Do you plan on voting in 2024? Things you must know this year.
If you haven't voted in a while, check to make sure you are registered. Every few years the state routinely removes voters who have moved to a new address without re-registering, and those who have not voted in four years. Election day is not a time you want to find out you're not registered. If you voted absentee in 2023, you are not automatically allowed to vote in that way in 2024. If in doubt on whether you are correctly registered to vote in person or absentee in Cedar lake township, contact our Town Clerk, Maryhelen Drew @715-234-4333.

Road Bans announced
Our town patrolman, Scott Walters, has announced that the Town of Cedar Lake will be posting seasonal road bans starting on Thursday, March 16th, 2023. These bans will be in effect until further notice.
It’s that time of year again. Don’t do it!
It’s time to remind everyone that when plowing your driveway, it is illegal to plow snow across a town road. This practice could cause severe damage to plow equipment when trying to clear frozen piles of snow on the shoulder of the road. It is also dangerous to the safety of our town employees. Please get the word out to your new neighbor, who might not be aware.
